Experienced venue management industry professionals sharing their knowledge, skills and insights with mentees.
Guidance that shapes futures.
In partnership with QuayClean, the VMA Mentor Program connects experienced venue management professionals with the next generation of industry leaders.
Through a one-on-one professional relationship, mentors share their knowledge, skills, and insights — while mentees gain guidance, confidence, and support in navigating their careers.
This program is designed to engage, inspire, and nurture both mentors and mentees within a professionally supportive learning environment — strengthening individuals, the industry, and the VMA community as a whole.
Quayclean are passionate about creating tangible cleaning and waste management solutions for their clients, and embedding sustainable practices within their operations. Working across a broad range of industries, Quayclean currently employ in excess of 2,600 team members throughout Australia, providing a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate sustainability leadership within their clients’ sites.
What’s next?
Applications will open in late 2025 for the 2026 intake. Applications will then be reviewed, and the matching process will begin. You can expect to hear from us with the next steps by mid-December 2025.
All successfully matched applicants will be informed of the contact details of their mentor/mentee.
What if I’m not matched?
Currently, there are a limited number of places available. If you are unsuccessful this time around, there will be other opportunities at a later date.
What happens once I’ve been matched?
Once applicants are matched, the VMA will provide mentors and mentees with a range of online resources to prepare you for the program beginning in January 2026.
