Put Your Hand Up….
Nominate for the 2019 Venue Industry Awards to recognise and celebrate our venue industry stars
The VMA’s Venue Industry Awards are the premier Awards program in our industry for the Asia Pacific region. Since 2010 the Awards have been showcasing the best of the venue industry’s talent across a number of categories:
- Venue Professional of the Year
- Allied Professional of the Year, and
- Young Achiever of the Year for our under 30’s
Our industry is unique and draws to it some incredible individuals who are passionate about what they do. From memorable moments for their patrons to iconic events that form part of our nation’s culture and history, these are a rare breed and we love to celebrate them.
The Awards are bestowed based on the achievements of the nominees over the last 12 months only – being the 2018 calendar year. You can nominate a peer or even yourself, with the online nomination process taking less than 60 seconds. So I encourage you to help us celebrate the unsung heroes of our industry and nominate someone for the 2019 Venue Industry Awards.
The Venue Industry Awards have a rich history of recognising leaders, game changers and innovators in our business, and our full honour roll of past winners can be found here.
I would also like to acknowledge the leading industry organisations that sponsor our Awards and allow us to offer each year’s winners free registration to the following years Venue Industry Congress. This year our Venue Professional of the Year Award is proudly sponsored by AEG Odgen and our Young Professional of the Year Award by Ungerboeck, both of whom we thank for their ongoing support.
Nominations close 31st March and we will have the pleasure of announcing the winners at this year’s Gala Dinner to be held in Melbourne on 28th May 2019 as part of Congress.
