The VMA is a company limited by guarantee, with a governing Board (Directors) consisting of 10 Active members and 2 Allied non-executive members who are elected by the membership in advance of the Annual General Meeting held in conjunction with the VMA Congress. Directors serve for a three-year term and may nominate for re-election if they wish. The incoming Board each year elects from within its own ranks the statutory positions of Chair and appoints a number of sub-committees, including the Executive Management Committee comprising five members including the Chair of the VMA Board, Chair of the Finance Audit and Risk Committee (Treasurer), Chair of the Membership Committee (Secretary), Chair of the Professional Development Committee, and Chair of the Congress Committee.

As a financial member of the VMA you will receive an email to your registered email address at 9.00 AM (AEST) on Friday 26th April 2019, giving you the opportunity to cast your vote in this year’s online election.

In order to make your vote valid you will need to undertake this process utilising the online voting platform and select 4 of the candidates only.

The online election platform will remain open until 5.00PM (AEST) Friday 3rd May 2019.
