The USI (Ungerboeck) Year 1 Student Bursary was introduced for the first time in 2005.
The VMS USI (Ungerboeck) Bursary provides full student fees covering Year 2 of the VMS course. It is awarded to the student who achieves the highest academic exam score at the conclusion of Year 1.
The Bursary, sponsored by the Software Company USI (Ungerboeck) has been developed in association with USI (Ungerboeck) and the VMS Committee.

This highly sought after industry scholarship is awarded each year to the student who successfully completes the two years of study at the VMS, and further demonstrates achievement in a range of assessment criteria. The scholarship has been awarded to the leading graduate from the VMS since the school’s inception and valued at approximately AUD$10,000.
The Scholarship winner receives enrolment in the IAVM-VMS Graduate Institute in Tampa Bay, USA, and includes a minimum of one venue visit in another city during the trip. The scholarship covers all travel and Graduate Institute fees with AEG Ogden assisting in the arrangements for the venue visit.
The successful student is selected from criteria including outstanding academic achievement and application at the VMS, continuing a commitment to the venue management industry, communication, teamwork and professional leadership skill. The VMA Board would like to particularly thank AEG Ogden for sponsoring the VMS Scholarship for over 25 years.
