Through our partnership with Griffith University, VMA members will be able to receive credits towards a degree program.
For those who complete the Diploma of Venue Management 10569NAT with the VMA, you will have the opportunity to receive credit towards two degrees:
VMA Diploma Graduates will be awarded 80 points of credit, which is equivalent to one year of the above listed degrees. If you completed the Diploma of Venues and Events CUE 50403 from 2011 to 2014 with the VMA, you will also be able to receive credits towards these listed degrees.
Discussion is underway to provide an online study option for these degrees, allowing VMA members from around Australia to take advantage of this opportunity.
We expect the education opportunities to continue to expand, as we work with Griffith University developing this area of our partnership.
If you would like to discuss your education pathway options further, please contact Suzie Crawford firstname.lastname@example.org or call (07) 5501 6000
We’re excited to explore the opportunity with Griffith University to design valuable research projects that provide the venue industry with comprehensive research, informative reports and data that inspire growth and expansion.
This could include benchmarking in key areas across the venue industry. For example, salaries, ticketing, food and beverage costs, client satisfaction, etc. The VMA is also looking at research that demonstrates the economic benefits that venues bring to cities and regions.
We’ll provide you with more information as this area develops.
